Shalni A. Chandwani
Shalni A. Chandwani is an associate in the New Orleans office of King, Krebs & Jurgens who practices primarily in the areas of insurance bad faith and insurance coverage and defense. She also has experience handling intellectual property law matters, commercial litigation and international law and business.
Shalni is originally from Miami, Florida. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance and International Marketing from the University of Miami in 2002. In 2005, Shalni earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from Florida International University. Prior to attending law school and in addition to working in Miami as a foreign currency consultant, Shalni spearheaded an international market research project in Guatemala through USAID and Winrock International. Shalni was also selected to participate in the prestigious International Internship Program sponsored by the Foreign Agricultural Service and the United States Department of Agriculture, where she spent three months in Guangzhou, China.
