Firm donates to Haiti earthquake victims
January 29, 2010NEW ORLEANS
In light of the devastating earthquake that destroyed Haiti January 12, King, Krebs & Jurgens employees generously contributed donations for earthquake relief. To help with efforts in providing the immediate needs of food, water, shelter and first aid supplies, close to 100% of staff and attorneys contributed to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, which funnels 100% of all donations to the areas in need. The firm then matched all employee contributions.
"We all vividly remember Katrina, and having come through a major catastrophe ourselves only a few years ago, we know the path to recovery will take courage, much hard work and time," said managing member Henry King. "We are confident that the people of Haiti will prevail and overcome this terrible tragedy."
